National Bullet Registry

Rather than track guns, why not track the bullets? If (somehow) we were able to print a unique serial number inside each bullet (to prevent tampering), then track the production and sale of said bullets, would this not make tracking down shooters easier? There's already more than enough unregistered guns to go around.
I know, I know, there's probably more than enough ammo out there to commit violent crimes for the next 10,000 years, but I just thought I'd throw that idea out there.

Did you need ID to buy bullets? If you did, and they recorded it (and your bullet serial numbers), and you went out and shot someone, they'd have a better idea of who-dunnit. Again, it's not perfect, but it's an idea. |

Wow, those are Toronto cops too. I guess they handled it pretty well. He was threatening the officers, so their use of force was justified. Where did you find this clip? |
