Zenn car is no more
Canada's favourite underdog car manufacturer is closing up shop.

To be honest, I never understood the big deal about these things. 40km/h max speed, 80km range electric vehicles. Admittedly they've got actual windows, which golf carts don't, but what was so awesome about them that made them "a mini-revolution in the industry"?

So how does an older, heavier car stand up against a 2009 model? Check this video of a 1959 Chevy Bel-Air vs a 2009 Chevy Malibu:

Ti-Cats Fan
Here's a YouTube clip of the 4th quarter hilarity that ensued at last night's football game:

This is the very end of the event, the guy spent a good few minutes at the top of the upright.

What a beautiful start to another season.

Flow Charts vs. Speeches: The Saga Begins
Should President Obama have spoken to Americans for an hour, or just made them stare at this flow chart?

I'm a pro-flowcharter for sure.

Prime Minister Douchebag
How stupid does Harper think Canadians are?

After appointing several card-carrying Conservatives to the senate, he has the gull to publicly say “Imagine how many left-wing ideologues they (the Liberals) would be putting in the courts, federal institutions, agencies, the Senate."

Then he goes on to appoint another Tory backer as Minister of the Federal Court of Appeal, and the daddy of disgraced Conservative MP Maxime Bernier to director of the Canada Employment Insurance Financing Board.

I get the impression that Harper will not stop lying. I still can't get over the fact that, by calling last fall's election, he broke the very election law his party enacted.

Oh, and lastly, Mr. Justice Pierre Blais, who was appointed as Minister of the Federal Appeal Court, was first appointed to the Federal Court by Chretien's Liberal government. Harper; put that in your always appointing "left-wing ideologues" pipe and smoke it!

I thought this was pretty eye opening (though I didn't actually check the facts...)
