Since no one's posted anything in a while...here goes:
From the Toronto Star today: Bride asks if Dominican wedding was a fake
Let me sum up this story for you: A couple forks over a few bucks to head south to get married. Their friends come along, they have a nice ceremony, everyone has a good time...then they get back and it becomes a horrible nightmare because...wait for it...they might not "really be married".
Oh wait...can't you just go over to city hall, pay $100 and be done with it? WTF is the problem here? It must have been a slow news day at the Star or I don't know something about how this married stuff works.
