The Face of Despair
See these kids? These kids and their dad are in the Toronto Star today because of their plight. Their dad forked over $120 for Raptor's tickets, no wait, I meant $120,000, and is now suing the Raptor's parent company. Never mind that there are people in Canada who won't make that much in 4 years...that's not important. What's important is that no one, and I mean NO ONE sits in front of this guy at the game.
More money than brains.

Get Together?
So, I think its long overdue, but an E-Filler get-together is certainly in order. There are many reasons: a couple of the Fillers have bought houses, some continue to eat only veggies, while others have decided to get married. And of course all of this has transpired in a way that, with me being in Burlington with Anyong the 11-year-old Korean psycho-boy, I haven't been able to see most of you.

What do you say? When would be good? I won't even put a date out there becuase I simply have no idea when would be good for everyone.

Hmm?

Schrute Farms
Any fans of the show "The Office" might want to check out Schrute Farms on TripAdvisor.com...you can even find Jim and Pam's post. Talk about product placement...

Election Day
So how'd you guys vote? I went with Paul Pighin/NDP on the election and "no"/stay-with-FPTP on the referendum.

It was a weird election for me. Of the four major parties, there really wasn't that much that was obnoxious in any of them, and yet I didn't feel really comfortable with any of them either. I'm hoping for a good mix in the house. The Conservatives can save nuclear power. The NDP can save health care. The Liberals and can be everyone else's scapegoats (this is why we still need Dalton McGuinty). The Greens can...I don't know...Green it up. It would be glorious.

MLB Pool
Well congrats to The Sellouts for winning the MLB pool for the second half of the season. And let's not forget Team Uniball III, the winner of the first half of the season pool.

Now that's out of the way, this is just a friendly reminder that the Playoff MLB pool starts soon. Get your team name in at the SportingNews.com and join the league "e-filler.ca Invitational".

See you in the post season.
