This is totally messed up: The Toronto Star had an article today about 'wigoutgirl' on YouTube. It's about some bridezillaish girl freaking out about her hair...I'll save you some time, here's the video:
So who is she? Someone must know her right? The Star article asks if she is in fact from Toronto. A quick browse through the comments shows that this poor young lady is Jodi Behan, and yes, she's on Facebook. Go on you sick freak, look her up. There's even comments on her wall about being a new celebrity...<scarcasm>isn't the Internet great?</scarcasm> |

Korean internet

Well, I have to say it's like I'm living in the future since I've been in Korea. My internet connection costs me about $40 a month, but it affords me the fastest download speeds I've ever experienced in all my internet experience. I'll be the first to admit that I don't get e-around as much as many e-fillers, but I had to take a picture of this download speed to prove that it was actually happening.

Suzanne Wickware is leaving Ontario. Those of us who read this site from Burlington will probably remember her from high-school. |

It appears that TV's Moesha started a major accident that ended up killing a married mother of one.
But everything's cool now because her publicist said she offers her condolences to the family of the deceased. |

First black US president is oxygen stealing murderer?

BEWARE: HE IS ABOUT TO STEAL YOUR OXYGEN!!
Apparently Barack Obama, some dude, wants to run for US president as a Democrat. As taken from the article: The CBC's Henry Champ in Washington said Obama's strength is his ability to make a personal connection with audiences across the country.
"I've seen him in action, in rooms where he literally takes the oxygen out of the air," Champ said Tuesday. "He's that dynamic." Are we as a planet ready for a president so dynamic that he LITERALLY takes the oxygen out of the air?
Seriously, though, I hate it when people use the word "literally" wrong. Losers. |

Hold your Wee for a Wii

A water drinking contest in the US went terribly wrong last week when a woman died of water intoxication. Apparently, if you drink too much water it throws off the balance of electrolytes (or something like that) in your body, which is essential for your muscles and nervious system to work.
The contest was run by a radio station in California. The winner, who ever could drink the most without going to the bathroom, was to receive a Nintendo Wii.
The name of the radio station running the contest: The End |

This is Not Global Warming

I would just like to come clean and tell everyone that I know why there's no winter in the GTA this year. It's not because of global warming. It's because of me. I'm sorry. I bought snow tires for my car this year. If I hadn't done that, we'd be buried up to our eye-balls in snow...but because I did, there hasn't been flake. My bad. (I'm especially sorry to the 1,300 people I put out of work at Blue Mountain.) |

An avalanche today buried cars en route to a major ski resort in Colorado. I thought they had teams to prevent that from happening? Someone's getting fired. |

Mr. Mr. Noodles has died :(

I got the scoop from Ph.D. comics, which I'm sure you all read already. In Canada we buy Mr. Noodles, which is basically just a rebranding of ramen instant noodles. Interestingly, instant noodles were a luxury food when they first came out, as they were much more expensive than other noodles. Now they're sadly a staple for many of us: where else can you get 400 Calories for 30 cents? |

56% of Olis think the Sun orbits the Earth

As stolen from Geoff's blog. A dude on the French version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was given the question "what gravitates around the Earth?". He didn't know the answer, so he polled the audience. Believe it or not, 56% of the audience said the Sun, while only 42% said the Moon.
I suppose it should be somewhat comforting that our education system isn't the only one that sucks. |

Saddam Execution

It seems like the US can't do anything in Iraq properly. The latest bit being Saddam's "dignified execution"...less than 24-hours after footage of it is popping up all over the 'net. How hard would it have been to search all the witnesses to make sure no one recorded the event? |
